My current obsession, Le Castle Vania, is releasing a new, truly gritty bit of electro loveliness on August 9th and he has kindly put a sound cloud preview up to listen.
This up and coming producer is developing a unique sound at a furious pace and this particular track has an emotional poignancy that has not ever been so distinct on previous Castle Vania records. It’s not just good because the track rocks, it’s good because of the vocal, the chemical brothers-esque call and response song writing and a some very clear Drum n Bass roots for our friend Dylan Eiland.
My hat is off to this guy, he’s making some lovely new noise.
